Itinerary:

Day1. Ulaanbaatar city tour

Your Incredible Mongolian private crew will meet you at Chinggis Khan international airport to transfer to centrally located hotel in UB. Capital city tour with full sightseeing begins after accommodating at the hotel. First will explore Mongolian Buddhist religious center “Gandan” monastery where 27 meters tall standing golden “Janaraisag” Buddha and monks live chanting ceremony then visit to “Sukhbaatar main square” where city zero point. At lunch you will enjoy Mongolian traditional meal at Modern Nomads restaurant. After drive to “Zaisan Hill “nicest city observing spot then we are recommending for your historical knowledge “Mongolian National history museum” about nomads land. Overnight in hotel (L)

Day2. Fly to Murun city

Early morning fly about 1.40 hours by domestic plan to Murun capital city of Khuvsgul province in the most northern part of the country. As soon as landed there drive to magnificently scenic Lake Khovsgol – one of the deepest and cleanest freshwater lakes in the world, considered to be sacred by the local population.  Overnight in Mongolian traditional ger camp (B, L, D)

Day3. Ice Festival

Experience an action-packed day at the Mongolian Ice Festival. Discover the unique folklore of the Mongolian Tsaatan “Reindeer People”, follow the exciting reindeer and horse races, participating in an arm-wrestling competition held on ice, and see firsthand the mysterious rituals of the Shaman.  Overnight in ger camp (B, L, D)

Day4. Lake Khovsgol

Spend the day exploring Lake Khovsgol, with activities ranging from hiking and horseback riding to ice fishing and a visit to a Mongolian nomadic family.  Overnight in ger camp (B, L, D)

Day5. Ulaanbaatar

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to local airport in Murun city to fly for 1.40 hour to Ulaanbaatar. Our company crew will pick up you in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. After refreshing or relaxing at the hotel enjoy your free time in the city. We are recommending you shopping, Mongolian national approved products cashmere, camel wool blanket, yak and leader or fur products. Visit to Natural history museum evening please enjoy Mongolian traditional meal at Mongolian Barbeque restaurant. Stay at the hotel. (B, L, D)

Day6. Departure

For your international departure Incredible Mongolia has private transfer back to international airport or railway station from hotel. End of the Mongolian tour. (B)
